About Our Collection Names

What's In a Name

When I first had the idea of reproducing some of my most treasured vintage pieces & creating my own clothing line, I was reminded of my grandmothers... One of which was a seamstress and the other, who appreciated fashion and was quite particular in putting herself together.

When it came time to name my collections, I decided to pay tribute to them, their mothers & other dear woman who have passed, whom we called 'Grandma'

• Our first collection the 'Elsie' Wrap Skirt is named after my Grandmother Elsie, my Fathers Mother.

• Our 'Velma' Wrap Dress is named after Elsies Mother, my Great Grandmother Velma.

 • Our 'Dotty' Tunic Dress is named after my Grandma Dorothy or Dot, my Mothers Mother.

• Our 'Macie' Kimono Cardigan is named after a wonderful woman that my boyfriends family called 'Nana'

Our newest collection, The 'Maria' Dress is named after my boyfriends Grandmothers on both sides.

• We are in the early stages of designing a Wool Winter Knit Collection... this will be named after my Great Grandmother Margaret, my father's grandmother.
